Take a BIC Round Stick...

by Glenn Craig

Take a Bic Roundstic , add a nib unit from something like an Esterbrook or Sheaffer Fineline and something to plug the cap so the pen is

 airtight.

Bic1

Pull out the ball point refill and insert the nib unit. The nib unit has to be snug and you will need silicone grease.

If the nib unit is loose you will have to make a sleeve, I used a section of plastic straw.

BIC2

Fit it together to make sure it works. Then take it apart fill using eyedropper or syringe with your favourite ink and re insert the nib unit, , don't forget the silicone?

BIC4

You are done.

BIC5

The pen, filled with Blue ink

BIC6

I made this one earlier, these pens take a ton of ink With the cap airtight they will not dry out for months or years. If you need more ink just repeat the earlier steps and refill pen.

BIC7

They are a novelty and fun to use but if you know me you will say where is the bamboo?

Thanks for reading,

Glenn
