The first OMAS Boutique in the U.S. was unveiled at Fountain Pen Hospital on Oct 9th.

The OMAS Boutique is a special display featuring OMAS writing instruments and products.

Fountain Pen Hospital was chosen as the flagship store for OMAS products in the United States due to their long time association as well as becoming the largest dealer in the world for OMAS products.

Special guest of honor was OMAS Vice President and creation Director Gianluca Malaguti Simoni who traveled from Italy to bring the latest OMAS Limited Edition the Giacomo Casanova.

Customers and friends attended as well as long time friend Bill Cosby who enjoyed meeting and talking with the many friends that came to attend this event. Bill was constantly trying to literally give the store away by offering free OMAS pens as gifts to everyone, but was politely restrained by FPH owners Terry and Steve Wiederlight. FPH is located very near NY City Hall and in the heart of Manhattan so the after work crowd slowly filtered in during the day.

The champagne flowed and trays of Hors d’Oeuvres were offered to guests who viewed the new OMAS display towers and cabinets filled with the latest pens and accessories from Italy.

Fountain Pen Hospital's knowledgeable sales staff is headed by Ed Fingerman, Harvey Seizer, Marc Vincent LeBouquin, Marvin Kujawski, Joe Dossantos, Jimmy Hutchinson and Roy Summer.

Terry and Steve have a combined 50 years experience in all phases of vintage and modern writing instruments. Joining them in January of 1997 as Director of Operations, was Ed Fingerman who brought an additional 20+ years experience in fine writing instruments to the firm.
