I am an expatriate Brit, living in Israel for the last 30 years. for the last 20 years confined to a wheelchair after a work accident, l started collecting pens from the age of 13 when I received a parker 51 for my barmitzvah. My grandfather was a pen collector so it was no fluke that I inherited his love for pens.Why do I collect Bunham, Curzon/Summit and Onoto? I think that Burnham has the widest choice of colours similar to Conway Stewart, Summit have the lovely lizard plastic and Onoto is the father of quality pens. Parker duofolds do not need a reason as they are just excellent in every way both those made in USA and from Newhaven.
I read all books and mags about pens and novels by Philip Roth, Ken Deighton and other thrillers.
My wife calls me her sous-chef and I love preparing all kinds af food my specialities include roast lamb in a wine marinade, chicken in a honey sauce etc. My cooking is less now as the kids have flown the coop and it is just the two of us so cooking is limited to parties of six to eight friends on a weekend.
