Farm boy from Massachusetts who switched his major from Veterinary Medicine to Computer Science when everyone thought computers were a fad. Moved to Silicon Valley during the first wave of startups. Survived through the slump, then made good in the second wave. Sold out just before the crash in 2000. Married to the guy I love and have been with since 1987 (though we weren't allowed to get married until 2004... fucking republicans!) I have a pet turtle named "Dr. Bombay Sapphire." I live in Sausalito, California. Feel free to stop by! Other interests: Love photography, scuba diving, my vanagon camper, travel, and for some reason I can't understand... pens.
