I am a (mostly) retired writer who moved to Arizona to enjoy the vast array of birds and sunlight possible in the Tucson area. My ecclectic pen collection is frequently used to exchange information with birders from all over the world. I bred and trained cross bred horses for eventing, judged both horses and hounds, and am passionate about Polish Arabian horses, Hungarian Vizslas, and Welsh Springer Spaniels. My pets now are all of the observed type including gila monsters, bobcats, javelinas, a variety of snakes, and whatever other critters amble along the wash behind our house.More time than I might wish to admit is spent attempting to restrict otherwise admired wildlife from munching my garden. I am humbled daily.Current favorite pens are vintage Aurora 88s and aerometric P51s with a small assortment of modern pens. I enjoy using each one.
