Paul Bloch (pableaux)
On Snail List Biography # 341 email: paulbloch@sbcglobal.net

Younger than springtime, older than laughter. Born when dinosaurs roamed the
earth in NY NY. I made it there!

Varied interests and, as I age, an increasingly short attention span. I like
people, especially those with imagination and creativity. I'm attached to my
small family, not least of which is my "son," a rescue dog -
Chihuahua/Basenji mix, which makes him bi-lingual (literally!).
Worked for a lot of companies with three initials - IBM, AT&T, MCI, GTE, et
al - in various management capacities for a lot of years until I was
involuntarily retired at the end of 2003. Looking now to do what interests
me, which is a fluid landscape, as long as it keeps the gray matter
exercised. I like music, most all, especially Texas Swing and opera, Chinese
food, blondes, learning, and, most of all, spending time with people I care
about.

Long-time pen accumulator; my focus narrowed in recent years, and has been
reoriented several times. Currently, I like Parker Vacumatics and Sonnets,
and I'm thinking of branching out - to Bexleys, maybe. Never bothered with
cursive and used ballpoints for the longest time. Just getting comfortable
with FPs - and liking them. Suspect I'll have more, so that I can fill each
of them with inks I like, like Private Reserve Purple Mojo and Sherwood
Green. I also have a burgeoning collection of ink bottles. Not like Max
Davis, but I like those old blue jars.

When all is said and done, I'm liable to win - I have lots of toys. Too
many, and sharing many of them with my nephews and son-in-law. I like
sharing and dark chocolate and sunsets and children and, did I say?,
puppies. Thanks for listening.

Other interests baseball, people-in-puppy-suits, family, green
growing things
